Meet The Clique
Introducing the driving force behind Clique: two dynamic, young Scottish female designers primed to revolutionise the local creative landscape. With passion and expertise, they're set to leave an indelible mark on the Scottish design scene.

Leyna Rafferty
Co-Founder, Chief Operations & Finance Officer
Hiya, I’m Leyna Rafferty and clothes are my special interest. I’m a dedicated hunter-gatherer of vintage fashion and originally launched Violet Vintage so my collection wouldn’t swallow me up. I believe that dressing up is good for the soul and I’m doing my bit to make that ethical, accessible and sustainable for all. As a proud Young Embroiderers Guild alumni I’m always repairing and upcycling to avoid landfill and this year I launched handmade clothing recreating those elusive vintage finds using original patterns, fabric, zips and threads.Â
Vintage looks not vintage values - the most iconic retro fashion was off limits to masses of people and the creatives I’ve worked with within the Scottish industry have been correcting that, one 1969 tunic dress at a time. That’s my commitment as co-founder - there’s a place for everyone in fashion and there's a place for everyone in Clique Glasgow.

Jennifer Honnan
Co-Founder, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer
Hey! I'm Jenny Honnan, I'm the founder and designer behind Pure Barkin and one of the co-founders of Clique Glasgow. Pure Barkin is my creative outlet to express my personal style, but also my mental health. I create one of a kind pieces from damaged preloved clothing, and made to order garments with my own original fabric designs.

I love building community and bringing people together, being a creative and working for yourself can be a lonely job - we're here to combat that! Our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive creative community in Scotland, focusing on breaking down barriers that often exclude marginalised groups and working-class artists from participating in the creative industry.

Bringing people together, breaking barriers and keeping it fun, sexy and weird while we're at it.
